Liberty Against Right To Privacy

Posted by [email protected] on

Among the talked about issues on democracy involve basic grantable rights such as free speech and right to privacy. Freedom of expression as clearly emphasized in the constitution is but a cardinal thread of tenet that no one should misinterpret in any way. So does right to privacy is a guaranteed liberty right stated in the constitution that, just the same, cannot be violated. However, all freedom that is embodied in the constitution cannot be absolute as it is always partnered with responsibility. Thus the issue of crimes and lawlessness come in. In the event that a person overly exercised his claimed freedom to the extent that others' are suppressed, then said freedom is void and no longer grantable. The issue on the right to privacy is often opened up during employment process whereby a background check is conducted. Many companies would implement background checks for employment verification in order to be sure of the people they invest in and put in their companies. This has been created by Essay Writers!

Just as one CEO chided to confirm the statement; "With small businesses, every new employee is a huge cost to the organization so it's important to get the right ones." An employer has all the right to check on the applicants but they are bounded by rules set by every state and by the federal government. An employer can check on the history of an applicant but only with his or her consent or else said process cannot be used as basis to determine his or her application's result. An instance happened wherein an employer used a police report to verify the credibility of the applicant for his company. The police report generated two allegations of a minor crime and some arrests of alleged driving incompetency. All the records that was turned out was not yet filed into courts thus no resolution or judgment took place. The employer, upon knowing of the said allegations, immediately denied the application. Too unfortunate though for the applicant he did not review that the police reports could have violated his right to privacy and the employer thus abused his liberty to information. The presented contrasts are just some of the many mind boggling issues that confront background check, rights, and freedom. But the more that people are being exposed to these kinds of issues, they are given the chance to weigh things. Just as how freedom should be practiced with responsibility so should rights.

That being said, the second amendment of the constitution was created in order to protect the rights of persons to have and carry arms. Fast forward to the 20th and the 21st century, the 20th century had considerable debate pertaining to whether the amendment protects individual rights or collective rights while the second amendment in the 21st century has been focus of renewed academic review as well as judicial interest. In acknowledgment of the necessitate to arm the public as a militia is no longer a concern, but realizing that firearms are a part of the history as well as the culture of America, and Americans need firearms for both personal defense as well as sport. Ownership of guns is a right indeed - but it is also a huge obligation. With the obligation comes the interest of society to make certain that guns are used safely and are used by individuals who are properly trained and licensed. If a consensus is attained on this simple premise, it then will not be too difficult to iron out the details and to find an appropriate compromise.

My wife and I went to Frankenmuth Michigan, the other weekend. We usually go up there once or twice a year. That's where I proposed to my wife, so it holds some sentimental value for us. It is also the biggest Christmas town in America. Frankenmuth, is the world's largest Christmas store. If you love Christmas, I encourage you to visit Bronners in Frankenmuth. It is so decorated with lights, horse drawn carriage rides through the small town, it is so beautiful. Frankenmuth was founded by German immigrants back in 1845. The town is called Little Bavaria , and it will take you back to a taste of the German way of living. The people are friendly, peaceful and ready to show you around. While we were enjoying our dinner, I started to look around the dining room. There were Asian people, Indian people, and Muslims, all enjoying their meals with their families, just like I was.

There were no looks, no remarks, just people enjoying an evening out. Lots of cameras taking pictures, as this is a town that has people from all over the world that come to visit. Presidents, heads of States, famous actors, athletes, you name it, there have been a ton of famous and different people come here for the same reasons that I come here for. If you go to Bronners, you will see all their pictures plastered all over the walls. I started to think to myself, "What is America?" Why is there such immigration to America? All these different people make up who we are. There is no other place in the world like the United States. We are unique in the fact that a person can come here and have every advantage as anyone else, for freedom and the right to pursue happiness and a better way of life. Remember when we had to say this every morning in school?
